Background of the Organization
LUONTHOUGHT is a Non-Profit Company established and incorporated in May 2017. We are operating within Dr KK District Municipality based in Khuma Location, near Stilfontein.
The objective of the company is community development and training. Our motto is to influence the mindsets and change attitudes, by shaping and upskilling mindsets, through innovative educational and literacy programs. To encourage creativity and positive thinking through mind engaging activities. We also entrench the culture of reading & writing by establishing book clubs within the community and schools in the area.
The value of literacy extends beyond the classroom and should ideally equip learners with knowledge, skills and confidence to participate actively in the society. By engaging the minds in creative tasks that are non-conventional, we expose the minds to open thinking and expanding the imagination in how to think more than what to think through our channeled programs.
